Flowers have been used an a wonderful expression of every human emotion. We can send flowers when we are in love, want to extend friendship, have a formal occasion like a wedding or there is a presentation ceremony or as in the above movie-when we have to express our anger. We even offer flowers to our diety; that too in most religions. Because flowers just bring two people closer.
The Roman devoured flowers. They had it in all their ceremonies. Their goddess of flowers, gardens, and the season of Spring is Flora. In Hindu mythology, flowers have a significant role to play. Vishnu, is often depicted standing straight on a lotus flower. Flowers also play a major role in many stories of creation.
Flower Usage
For long, flowers have been the favourite subject of painters, artists, poets, singers and lovers.
In modern days, people have started to cultivate, buy, wear, gift flowers because of their natural appearance, smell and also the feelings associated with them. Around the world, people use flowers for a varied events and functions that, cumulatively, encompass one’s lifetime:

- Yellow roses are more of friendship

- Irises/Lily are used in burials as a symbol referring to “resurrection/life”.

- Carnations are flowers associated with bonds of affection, health and energy
Flowers can be gifted as a single variety or a mix of varieties. They come in different shapes, sizes and decoration patterns.
